Over the past few weeks the challenge has had to be put on hold due to illness and more recently bad weather, causing the courses to be closed.
I have still over 50 courses yet to play and with the re-scheduling of those that I was unable to play during the last few weeks has put pressure on me to complete before the finale on the 10th April 2009 at the Vale Hotel Resort.
Therefore, I will contact those clubs to see if courtesy will still be granted so that I can complete my challenge after the finale.
Emails have been sent out to all clubs with regard to the finale at the Vale.
Those of you wishing to play on the Wales National course, and stay for the evening dinner, if you could contact your secretary or captain, if your club has participated in the challenge so that the names and tee times can be arranged via them, or, email direct to: stan@thepennychallenge.org with your requirements if your club did not participate and you would like to attend the finale.
Accommodation is available through the hotel directly, quote: The Penny Challenge when booking or, alternatively accommodation is available locally, smaller hotels, bed and breakfast etc. if you so wish.
